Famke Janssen - 1965


Famke Beumer Janssen (born 5 November 1965) is a Dutch Actress, director, scriptwriter, and former fashion model. She compete Xenia Onatopp in GoldenEye (1995), Jean Grey/Phoenix within the X-Men film series (2000–present), Ava Moore on Nip/Tuck, and Lenore Mills in Taken (2008) and its sequel, Taken a pair of (2012). In 2008, she was appointed a Goodwill Ambassador for Integrity by the world organization. She created her directorial debut with observing police officer in 2011.

Janssen was born in Amstelveen, Noord-Holland, Holland. Her given name, Famke, means that "girl" in West Frisian, the language of the Dutch province Friesland. She was given each her mother and father's surnames; Beumer and Janssen. She preserved the name Janssen. She has 2 sisters, director Antoinette Beumer and thespian Marjolein Beumer, each of whom modified their surnames to easily Beumer. additionally to her native Dutch, Janssen speaks English and French. She additionally learned German, however has not preserved with it. Following her highschool graduation, Janssen studied economic science for a year at the University of Amsterdam, that she later referred to as "the stupidest plan I ever had." within the early Nineteen Nineties, she registered at Columbia University to check artistic writing and literature.
